Volunteer Committee
The volunteer committee was set up to provide a unified system for the recruitment, orientation and retention of new volunteers. The committee will:
- recruit volunteers to address the needs of WCOM as defined by the various station committees
- provide an immediate response to all who offer their time and energy
- maintain a list of all volunteers
- channel interested individuals to the appropriate committees
- set up a general orientation meeting for all new volunteers
- write and maintain a general orientation WCOM Volunteer Handbook, not to be confused with any training manual
