We also have the following tasks that need to be performed. If you are interested, please email volunteer@communityradio.coop.
1. Permanently maintain a WCOM page on FaceBook
2. Permanently maintain a WCOM page on MySpace
3. Coordinate events (like Cat’s Cradle & Carrboro day)
4. Underwriting coordinator. We need more sponsors / underwriters.
5. Grant writers.
6. Someone to maintain the coming-soon box, which entails communicating with clubs as well as other venues, adding and removing items from the box and other tasks. Most of the clubs already know that we’ll play CDs by upcoming bands – the trick is to remind them to send along the material or provide the names of booking agents who will do so.
7. Someone needed to maintain WCOM written correspondence with donors and underwriters, i.e.solicitaion letters, thank you follow ups, etc.
8. Someone with experience in radio station engineering or desire to learn from the ground up.
