The Furious George Show brings noteworthy anti-war, environmental, and social justice news from around the world, and provides some of the best underground hip-hop and old school beats to help kick off the shackles. The Furious George Show brings an electronic mix of beats, news clips, and zany sounds that will keep you moving.
Andrew "Furious" George has been a microradio broadcaster since 1998-- before LPFM was legally established by FCC rulemaking in 2001. 2008 marks a decade of furious broadcasting, which began with the creation of Free Radio Asheville and the Southeastern Association of Microbroadcasters in Asheville, NC. WCOM has been the most recent home for the Furious George show since Carrboro-Chapel Hill LPFM microradio kicked off in 2004.
